Alba Trophy 2022

The Sun was shining as this years Alba Trophy took place on Saturday 4th June 2022. Scores were varied after round one with a tough course set up due to play from the black tees and some very difficult pin positions. Despite this, The Moles Golfing Society posted a fantastic round one score of 72, closely followed on 74 by The Old Carthusian Golfing Society and West Sussex Golf Club. After a delightful lunch and a few drinks, round two began and lunch certainly helped some more than others. The Old Marlburian's scored a brilliant 71 in round two to post a total of 146 and take 1st place by 3 shots over The Moles with a total of 149. Huge congratulations to Elliot Matthews and David Niven for winning the Alba Trophy 2022 and seal The Old Marlburian's first win in this competition.
