Dress Code
Woking Golf Club adopts standards for dress code that generally apply at many private golf clubs.
Denim jeans, vest tops, t-shirts or collarless shirts, athletic type shorts, cargo shorts and trousers with pockets on the outside, trainers, flip flops and sandals are not permitted on the course or in the clubhouse.
On the Course, recognised golfing attire must be worn. Smart tailored shorts may be worn with either long socks (of any colour) or white sports socks (of any length).
Golf shirts must be tucked into trousers/shorts.
Golf wear is allowed throughout the Club, except that headwear should not be worn in the clubhouse and golf shoes and shorts are not allowed in the Lounge or Dining Room. Shorts may be worn with smart shoes and without socks on the terrace or in the spike bar.
We recommend that after 10.30am gentlemen wear a jacket in the Dining Room either over golf wear or with a collar and tie.
