470 Yards Par 4 - Stroke 9 The long uphill dogleg was slightly remodelled in 2008 with the construction of new tees and is the only bunker-free hole on the course. The tee shot has to carry a bank of heather that partially obscures the fairway. From the back tees a well hit drive is needed to reach the optimum point between pine tree at the turn of the dogleg and the oak at the apex. A long uphill second shot is required in order to reach the green that stands just out of view over the brow of the hill. The fast green slopes diagonally from left to right down to the front leaving many really testing down hill putts. In match-play even the shortest of putts is rarely given on this very deceptive green.
